34thBG 1944

Hi guys

I have just been advised that a B-24 crew from the 34thBG shot down a V-1 flying bomb sometime in 1944. The aircraft concerned was 42-52755
'Dynamite 'N Dodo'. Has anyone any details? date? crew?

Also, apparently a B-17 from the same 34thBG shot down a V-1 - any help with these queries would be most welcomed.

Did any other US bomber crews claim V-1s?

Cheers
Brian

PS: I now understand that Sgt George W. Baldwin (airgunner aboard 42-52755) did shoot down a flying bomb but date unknown (Lt Noble Wright, pilot)
