Grib

This pilot was a successful Yakovlev-9 pilot in WW2. He claimed several victories but does anyone have details of claims made in the Yak-9U?

IIRC the 6 Guard IAP VVS ChF did not have any YAK-9U. For this regiment the war was over at the end of august 1944 after the Romanian and Bulgarian was seized.

The first 9U appeared at the fall of 1944 in 1 VA ( Baltic front, Kurland )
