Wing Cmdr Isherwood

Does anyone know the full name of the particular Wing Commander called Isherwood who lead the RAF Hurricane Wing that was based in Russia in 1941/42? I would be interested in his RAF career prior to the time spent in Russia, if anyone knows it.

I have in my notes for RAF Christchurch a record that Wing Cmdr Isherwood damaged Battle P6687 on landing at Christchurch on 15th June 1941. This aircraft was from the Station Flight at Bagington which had Polish Sqns there at the time. Was Wing Cmdr Isherwood in charge of them by chance or the base?

Thanks in advance

Re: Wing Cmdr Isherwood

Larry, I have quite a lot on Ramsbottom-Isherwood. including his service record with significant dates and events, and a rather good photo of him holding his Order of Lenin. PM me if you would like me to send this to you.
