Soviet Airborne Forces
Claimed to be the first book in English about this subject. The full title is "Unfulfilled Promise: The Soviet Airborne Forces 1928-1945" by Leroy Thompson. I have no publisher information.

it could not be the first book about Soviet airborne force, David Glantz already wrote a book "A History of Soviet Airborne Forces" more than 10 years ago, see here http://www.amazon.com/History-Soviet...0544435&sr=1-1
But so many years past, let us wait and see if this book has some new information.
