Blenheim on 6 April 1941
Hello,
I try, like so many of us and sometime hopeless, to cross over German claims and Allied losses. My focus is JG 2 since we are very close to finish with the volume 2. On 6 April, 3 JG 2 pilots claimed 3 Blenheims. _ Blenheim V5962 of N° 59 Sq. was probably shot down by Fw. Eberhard Bauer at 12h45; _ Beaufort N1147 of N° 22 Sq. (probably misidentified as a Blenheim), could have been shot down by Oblt. Hans-Jürgen Hepe at 13h40; _ But what could be the Blenheim claimed by Hptm. Greisert near Brest at 16 hours? Thanks a lot in advance. Cheers Erik |
