Flak in Southern Crete
I'm trying to find details of which Flak units were stationed in Paleochora, Southern Crete during the German occupation of the island. I live in Paleochora and the remains of the gun emplacements are still visible. This query was sparked by the recent discovery of what appears to be an 8.8cm AA shell.
Anybody able to point me in right direction - preferably in English!? Many thanks Mick |
