John T Godfrey
Does anyone know the exact day of promotion of John T Godfrey to Capt and also to Maj? Any help is appreciated.

Kocab,
Godfrey's promotion to Captain was dated 26 APR 44. (though he did not learn of it until 01 May) His promotion to Major was dated 17 JAN 46. What is your interest in John Godfrey? Regards, Tim McCann

thanks a lot for your reply. I highly appreciate it. I am interested in USAAF Aces generally not only in John Godfrey. I was not able to get info about his promotion anywhere. regards, Zdenek Kocab
