Re: BF109 W.Nr.412960

No actual record, but its WNr would indicate it was an Erla-built G-6, possibly a G-6/U2.

Where is your information coming from?

Re: BF109 W.Nr.412960

Trumpeter produces a kit of late G-6 in scale 1:24 and I´d like to know where did they take this W. Nr. from as this kit includes 2 versions- a/c flown by Willi Reschke or Erich Hartmann. I don´t know who of them flew this W.Nr.
Thanks for your answer.

According to photos in Jochen Prien's JG 53 Jan 44 - May 45, and photos in Graf&Grislawski a pair of aces Harman's mount was an Erla built G-14 ( it had MW-50 mount as we can see on the form of a hatch). This can be prooved by analysing gun through ports wich had particular Erla forms.

But I think this wasn't 412960

Also note that on right side all Erla built G-6/14 had a small cover under "beulles" hiding a compressor of a cabine pressurising unit for G-5. G-6/14 has only a cover but nothing under.
