Re: Me210c Tunisia
Remi,
had a look in Petrick and stocker's "Illustrated Production History" and found the following:- Wk Nr 2102325 2N+HT (GF+CE) Me 210A-1 12 Mar 1943 90% damage Gerbini Wk Nr 2102299 +HT (BN+CX - 26.2.43) Me 210A-1 1943 9./ZG 1 Found in the Autumn at Gerbini ================================================== === Wk Nr 8173 2N+HT Me 210C-1 12-19 JUne 1943 III./ZG1 - 10% damage crashed at Gerbini. Also September 1943 "Found in the Autumn belly landing" (suggests it was still at gerbini after Allied liberation. There is also an entry for :- Wk Nr 1052 of III/ZG1 Me 210 (unidentified sub type) 17 Apr 1943 35% damage Tunisia. Both aircraft are recorded as long fusalage 210s produced at Me Augsburg from short fusalage Me 210s originally produced by Luther Werke Braunschweig. ================================================== === Hope thatthe above is of some use
