Age Leonard Werner - 4th GF - KIA/MIA(?) 20/11/44
Does anybody know the age of Leonard Werner who went KIA on 20 November 1944 over lake Ijsselmeer? He was flying F51D 44-13411. I thought he is still MIA, but the 4th Fighter Group Personnel Losses in 'Escort to Berlin' states 'KIA'. In case of KIA, where and when was he found and where is he burried??

Hello,
From what I found in the NARA site re his enlistment his year of birth was 1915. Enlisted 22-1-1942 Married from Bronx New York City N Y. Which would make him 28 years or so old when he was killed. MACR 10535 location given as S E corner of Zuider Zee.(Footnote.com) Alex
