Italian AF Memorial website ?

Hi,

Is there an Italian A.F.Website simular to the CWGC or ABMC websites ?

Or a site that has details of Both RIAF, IAF,RSI and Co-Beligerant Losses ?

Re: Italian AF Memorial website ?

Hi Alex:

The lack of any replies appears to indicate the negative.
My own interest in this stems from the fact that the only two IAF crewmen KIA in an aircraft brought down on British soil in WW 2 were in the Fiat BR 20 shot down at Bromeswell, Suffolk on 11 Nov 1940. Others were lost offshore the same date, but I am not aware of any dead being recovered in the UK apart from the two above.
There were also some Italian personnel killed in local incidents/accidents (see my post on the 17 Feb 1945 Field Dalling B-24 crash on this forum)

Would be nice to know a bit more about the blokes involved.

Hello BC,

Thank you for your reply.

Here is a website link that was sent to me by another member in the LEMB website.

http://www.laltraverita.it/elenco_caduti_e_dispersi.htm

It does not however cover the whole of WW2 but it does help.

All the very best

Alex
