Bf 109 G-14 WkNr 465328

Hello,

I am looking for information about Bf 109 G-14 WkNr 465328. Apparently it was produced in March 1945 by MCU.

Does anybody have some more information? I guess it didn't make it to combat unit anymore but perhaps somebody knows where it was found.

Regards

Hallo Roger,
what does MCU stand for. In my lists I have this WNr-Block with Erla Leipzig. Is it the same?

Hi Thomas and Heuser,

Yes, Heuser is right, mcu was the manufacturer code for Erla in Leipzig. Is it known if this manufacturing block was delivered to the Luftwaffe before the end of the war?

Re: Bf 109 G-14 WkNr 465328

Gentlemen,

There were G-14s from this WNr. block operational after March, 1945. Two examples are:

G-14 465 314, III./JG 52, S Vidnava, Cz., 45/03/24
G-14 465 331, I./JG 77, Fl.Pl. Beneschau (Dolní Benesov), Cz., 45/03/17

The highest WNr. I have from the 465 300 series is G-14 465 399 from III./JG 5 and captured in Norway after the surrender.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the interesting information. After having read your message I checked JaPo's book about the 109 over Czech territory and found some more 4653xx that were used operationally. Most of them with JG52.
