Ludwig Keitel

Hi Iam trying to find out what aircraft Uffz Keitel in 6.K.G.54. was in when he was M.I.A over London on the 22.3.44 according to what information i have he was in JU88-A4 No-8836 B3+BP but in Siegfried Radtke book there was a B3+BP JU88-A4 No-3655 shot down over Kumschinowo on the 19.3.42, is this the same plane but perhaps repaired after damage? any help is appriciated.
Regards Steven.

Re: Ludwig Keitel

Aircraft Codes like B3+BP would transfer to the replacement aircraft as aircraft were destroyed/missing etc. Uffz Ludwig Keitel was the Bs in the Ju88 B3+BP 8836 flown by Uffz Eberhard Egle reported missing from an attack on London 21/22-4-44, I have a note that Keitel was awarded his airgunners badge on 1-6-1943,

Hope this helps
