237 squadron Spitfire?

Hello, with my friends we have found a crash site of a plane believed to be a 237 squadron spitfire. The crash site is few kms north of Sant'Andrea Bagni, near Parma, which was the site of Albert Kesserling's HQ.

A witness says that the plane was shot down just after the bombing of the HQ (october 12 1944). I don't know if was the 237 sqn who did the job, but someone can tell me the 237 squadron losses in north italy? Thanks in advance!

Mick
