Bescheinigung Fw 58 H3+BA WNr.58299

This aircraft was based in Norway from late 1942 until it was scrapped at Kjevik 8.5-45. It belonged to Jagdfliegerführer Norwegen and was flown mainly by Ofw. Kruse. Maj.Seegert also used the aircraft.

It was built 1939. Does anybody know the where abouts of this aircraft prior to its Norwegian service? May be there exists some pictures of H3+BA too?

regards Kjell

To Flyvrak:
Are you sure this aircraft was used up to the time of capitulation. In the inventory listing of all German aircraft in Norway at this time, there are noe mention of a FW 58C-2 with W.Nr. 59 299.

Re: Bescheinigung Fw 58 H3+BA WNr.58299

Thanks Flyvrak. There seems to be a large time gap between the flight recorded in July 1944 and then nothing until May 8, 1945. If the document you have is the flight log for this particular aircraft, how come the time gap. The only FW 58 at Kjevik listed by the Oberquartiermeister of Komm.Gen.d.Dt.Lw. in Norwegen at the time of capitulation was the FW 58B-2 W.Nr. 2750 and listed as part of Stab/T.Gr.20.

Sorry I can't explain the time gap in this book.

The aircraft was used frequently in March-May 1943.
On 28.7-2.8 1943 it was at Aalborg ost.

Hey Flyvrak.

Would it be possible to see a scan of the page concerning Aalborg-East?
