Werk Number 151556 Me 109G-10

Hello everyone,
I have just joined today and am seeking some help, can anyone give me any info on this particular aircraft, and perhaps the one photo.
The only reference I have is from the Messerschmitt 109 Vol 2, by Dominique Breffort and Andre Jouineau, and its a little vague. I really want to get an idea of the colour scheme used on this aircraft, I hope someone can help.
Regards
Tim

Bf 109 G-10 / 151556 belonged to 15/JG 301 and was lost on 02. March 1945 near Regenhardt (area of Burg) in an air-combat.
The pilot, Uffz Rudolf Welsch, was killed.

JG 7 lists no Bf 109s on any of its losses.

Hi John

I believe that it's true that JG 7 had no Bf 109's on strength and that the RVB band of JG 7, red/blue has been mistaken for the yellow/red of JG 301?

These modellers wonderful work illustrates the point:

Thanks Chris, Well that explains the enigma, as we would say here bugger! My only reference on the aircraft (The before mentioned book) is entirely incorrect. Thank you gentlemen for your input, time to strip the paint off my model and find another topic. Thanks again.

There were some Bf 109s assigned to III./JG 7 so that the jets could train against conventional fighters. See this article.
