German airplane found near Tichvin...

Parts of the crew bodies were also found. The plane was severely damaged, and so far all that was found was a plate which said:
"SER: 1A4N-1836 Zeichn:88-201 F.M: 16.42"

Can any body help with identifying at least the type of the plane?

Could it be a Junkers Ju 88?

"SER" seems odd...I don't know of any Ju88 that had that on a tag. The numbers don't seem to match up right it.

Attach a pic, and hopefulley we can figure it out..
