![]() Hi Guys,
A friend of mine gave me a photo of a Bf 109E which had been heavily 'souverniered' but what can be seen is a unit marking which I am pretty sure is from 6/LG2 and the markings of A black? 1 then a black? triangle both with a thin white? border then the german cross and then an 'M' in white with a black border. The Bf is on a pavement apparently in Liverpool? I wondered if anyone could give me any idea of who the pilot was? Regards. Cornelius. |

Re: Photograph
The black 1 is in fact a vertical black line. This is 6(S)LG2 Me109E-4/B Wrknr.3726 of Fw.Pankratz (POW) crashed on 5 Oct. 1940 near Peasmarsh.
