Uffz Gerlach of 13./KG40?

Morning guys

Does anybody have any additional information on Uffz Gerlach of 13./KG40? Mention is made of him in a list of aircrew having served with V Gruppe Kampfgeschwader 40 & I & III Gruppen/Zerstorergeschwader 1, July 1942 to August 1944 on the pages of the excellent Bloody Biscay by Chris Goss [Crecy, 1997]. It appears from a discussion elsewhere that he survived the war and ended up staying in the UK. After his death in 1996 it also appears that Guard of Honour was present from RAF-Cottesmore at his funeral. Any additional information/photos of him, details on his flying career, aircraft he flew (Ju88C-6?) and details as to how he became to be fished out the Bay of Biscay and become a POW circa 1943 would be greatly appreciated.

cheers
