Fw190A_WNr.681387

Hello!

Somebody has info about this plane

Fw190A WNr.681387
I saw one picture with this Wernummer. Which unit served, and final fate of this Fw190?

Thank you.
Kind regards,

Re: Fw190A_WNr.681387

Where did you see this plane? More info please

"681382" was Wilhelm Moritz when he was commander of IV/JG3 spring 1944.

He said that he saw this plane at the end of the war, so it was probably scrapped at that time.

Re: Fw190A_WNr.681387

Hi

It seems to be in 'Sturmjäger' configuration

Hard to see if the armour on the fuselage sides is in place but the additional canopy armour is pretty obvious

The source is of course interesting... wonder where in the BA these photographs are now.

Regards,
Andreas B
