Do 217N NJG loss on Sept 17/18, 1944
Hi Folks,
on the night of September 17/18, 1944 a Do 217N night fighter was lost in a mid-air collision with a soviet DB-3F (Il-4) long range bomber over Northern-Hungary. The bomber's target was Budapest. The german pilot was killed, although his crew survived the crash. Does any of you know which German night-fighter failed to return from this mission? (NJG.100, 101, or????) Thanks, Gabor |
