Finnish Moranes

While paging through recently acquired 'MS 406 in FAF' book by Kari Stenman I noticed the Finns used at least three types of propeller/spinner assy on them - one type with the short bulkier spinner and two different more sleek types. Could anyone shed some light on this assemblies?

regards,
Pawel

Re: Finnish Moranes

There were at least 5 different propellers used in the Finnish Moranes:

1. Chauviere 351
2. Hispano-Suiza 10B
3. VISh-2 or VISh-22 (from SB-2)
4. Ratier 1607
5. Escher-Wyss (this has IIRC the longest spinner)

In addition the VISh-61 was used in the Mörkö-Morane.

Re: Finnish Moranes

Thanks Harri, those Moranes are interesting subject for the modeller... and it is probably a challenge to find two machines in same configuration with all this propellers, radiators, wing mounted guns, windscreen armour etc.
