RAF Skellingthorpe

Has anyone got any wartime photos of this base? I'm doing an artwork of a 61st Sq Lancaster and would like to see the layout around the runways.

Thank you

Re: RAF Skellingthorpe

Hi
Look at http://www.raflincolnshire.info/skel...pememorial.htm where there is mention of a 50 and 61 Sqn Museum. There should be an address that you can use to find out more. They mention a Model of the airfield and Photos
Regards
Dick

Re: RAF Skellingthorpe

try http://www.raf-lincolnshire.info/ and navigate the site. The first link didn't work for me either but if you use this link, click on Skellingthorpe on the map and then on a blue link-memorial- it should get you there. This link seems to be the home page for a site that contains much more than Skellingthorpe
Regards
Dick
