Today I received a sad news:

Dear Friends of August Blume,

I am sorry to tell you that Augie has died peacefully on February 6, 2009 at University of Virginia Medical Center.

One of his many friends,

Larry Seawell

Throughout the years I had contacts with him on and off.
I am truly sorry to hear him pass away.

May he rest in Peace.

I was in correspondence with Mr Blume a couple years ago. He is great man and WWI Aviation Historian. He will miss to all of us. Rest in Peace.
