Sgt D MacDonald RAFVR

Looking for any information on a Sgt D MacDonald RAFVR (gunner). 16.08.41 Handley Page Hampden X2959 25 OTU crashes at New Balderton killing 6 of the Brumpton family. The crew Sgt Sydney Baldachin 778405 RAFVR and Sgt Thomas Wood 1105933 RAFVR were also killed. Sgt D MacDonald RAFVR survived the crash with slight injuries after being pulled from the wreckage. I found a Sgt David MacDonald 1058534 RAFVR (gunner)being KIA in 17.04.42 with 97 Squ. Could anybody inform me if this is the same man or any reason for it not being.

Thanks Shaun.
