Junkers Ju-88 H-1 and H-2

Hello!
I was wondering if any clear (or even half-clear) picture of the H-1 or H-2 has ever been published in books or on the net... So far, I've only been able to find the poor quality image of an H-1 being shot down which is in Ron Mackay's book on the '88 (Crowood), page 131: not much, really! And the H-2 appears to be even more elusive, though many sources agree that a small number was actually built.

Any clues?

Thank You, and Cheers!

Alessandro

A clear photo of a Ju 88 H-1 (showing almost the entire aircraft, that is) was first published in Jet & Prop magazine 6/1996, with follow-up information appearing in JP 1/1997 and 6/1997.

According to monthly reports from Junkers Flugzeug und Motorenwerke, the Ju 88H-2 was planned but never completed.

. I have one image of a complete H-2 prototype, but you may have to wait for my book to see it. There also is a pretty good quality three view. Some "H" information is contained in Vernalecken and Handig's Ju 388 book.

Best regards,

Artie Bob

It's a pleasure to discover that the H-1 is nearly at hand, and even more that, sooner or later, we'll see the H-2! Can't wait to see your book, Artie Bob...
I haven't bought the Ju.388 book yet because I understand that they're planning an English version (read somewhere on the net), though I have no idea about the times.

Thank You, and Best Regards,

Alessandro
