Aircraft identification requested
Hi all,
The picture below was shot by Jan P. Kloos, 320 Sqn, on Zaventhem (Melsbroek), winter 1944-45. The aviator in front of the crash-landed and derelict Me.109 is airgunner Jaap Lub. Can any-one tell more about the aircraft in this picture? Regards, Rob |

Re: Aircraft identification requested
Hi,
It appears to be a late Me109 G-6. Other people on the forum should be able to narrow down the camouflage pattern to a specific manufacture, but I am not how much more info you'll find ![]() mike |

Re: Aircraft identification requested
Gentlemen,
Thanks. Which fighter unit(s) was/were stationed in Zaventhem, latest october 1944? Do their histories yield a crash-landing? Regards, Rob |
