Looking for info/photo of Ju87B of T6+AS of Oblt Lother Lau StaKap 8./StG2, crash-anded near Maastrict, Netherlands, on May 11, 1940
Hello,
I'm looking for further information on the precise location, and any possible photos for the following Ju87B crash in the Netherlands on May 11, 1940: "MAY 11, 1940: 8./StG2 Junkers Ju87B-1. Believed shot down by No. 607 Squadron Hurricanes during attack on roads east of Tirlemont and crash-landed near Maastricht (Netherlands) 4.35 p.m. FF Oberlt Lothar Lau (Staffelkapitän) unhurt, BF Uffz Felix Ochmanek badly wounded, admitted to hospital in Maastricht." My information suggests that the plane may have come down relatively intact. Can anybody help? Regards
