Bf 110(?) crashed at Fliegerhorst Værløse (DK) 11/10 1940

Hi everyone!

I am looking for further information concerning this accident:
http://www.flensted.eu.com/g1940103.shtml

Oberleutnant Otto Ballhorn was a quite close relative to me, so I do especially thank Mr Flensted for providing the information linked above.
I am especially interested in more details concerning the education and military career of OLt Ballhorn.

Thanks a lot,
Leidwolf

Noone? Really?

I didn't find any further clue either. Nor is this crash listet in the Generalquartiermeister-list of lost aircraft.

Could this announcement be a fake? And if that, why?
Or was that unit (Zerstoerer Ergaenzungsgruppe Vaerloese) not managed in a proper "german" administrativ style?

Lots of questions - still hoping for some answers...

OK - thanks Khorat.
Sorry if I had a wrong list. Where can I get a correct one?

As one of the closest relatives a man who died without having own kids can have I contacted the "dd-wast". Maybe I should show a bit more patience in awaiting their answer. Sorry again - these are my first moves in researching my family history...
