He111 loss, OstFront, summer 1941 - need help to ID
Hi all!
This He111 was shot down during first air raid to Moskow, july 1941. Propaganda said, that crew consisted of two "Colonels". Two of crewmember KIA, two - POW. _Titenkov.jpg) The part of Vbkz. is visible on fuselage, it is ??+GM or ??+CM. Anyway, it tells us a Staffel number - 4./KG??. Enthusiasts from russian forum asked for help. Any ideas about crew?

No Colonel was killed or missing in July 1941 in He 111. However, this might be your case:
1941-07-21, 4./KG 4, He 111P-4, 2918, 5J+CM, (Moskau), Unbekannt. Bruch 100 %. Flugzeugführer Geißler, Bernhard, vermißt (DRK says Eberhard) Bombenschütze König, Karl, vermißt (DRK says Johann) Bordfunker Niedenzu, Willibald, vermißt Bordmechaniker Pewe, Johann-Tete, vermißt Matti
