Bf 109 E-7 WNr 3379
Good day to all
I have two losses for this Bf 109 E-7 WNr 3379 100% 04.08.42 4/II/JG 5 crash near Pontsalenjoki Russia Uffz Fricke August killed and 100% 20.09.42 4/II/JG 5 crash in Russia Fw Oehme Johannes killed Can you said to me where is the error ? Thanks Rene

again from JFV 9/III: -04.08.42: only 30% damaged, but Fricke was killed by a strafing Il-2 during take-off on Pontsalenjoki a/f. -Oehme is listed as missing after aerial combat in the Niva/Kandalschka area. According to Werner Girbigs book about JG 5 he is also listed as MIA, Erik Mombeeck mentions (in his "Eismeerjäger"-book) that Oehme crashed into a lake in the Niva area. Hope this helps Heuser
