Jericho

During the attack on Coventry 14-15 Nov 40, III/KG 51 & I/KG 54 reported dropping "SC50 mit Jericho und 360 B1 E1". Would this refer to screamers on the bomb and the fuzing?

Pilot is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Jericho

Yes, this is small tubes mounted near bomb stabilisers and they make whistling sounds. Ju87 is well known user of that device

Cheers

Elektronbrandbombe?

Could the latter part "360 B1 E1" maybe refer to the amount and type of bomb, i.e. "360 x B1 E1 Elektronbrandbomben", so 360 Incendiary bombs with a mass of 1 kg each? Does that make sense in your report, Chris? (Technical info from Wolfgang Fleischer's "Deutsche Abwurfmunition bis 1945", Motorbuch Verlag.

Regards,

Marcel
