He111 loss info requested
Gentlemen,
a member of the german Flugzeugforum is asking for info about the crash of an He 111 P-2, Werknr. 1632, near the town of Sundern (nowadays North Rhine-Westphalia). Unfortunately no date is given. This plate comes from engine cowling(s) but as many know, large amount of airframe parts of all types were re-cycled during the war. This particular He 111 may wery well have carried quite different W.Nr., only if many different parts carrying same numbers or the main-dataplate is found, then it can be taken as THE W.Nr.
