Hikoki new house style

Hikoki seems to have changed their house style.

Although they've published an impressive batch of new books, I must admit that I don't like their choice of "art work / house style" one bit. Of course different styles cater for different tastes, but whereas previously they their style was pretty clean, the added art work makes their publication look cluttered and (dare I say it...yes...) cheap.

Just some thoughts after paging through the latest incarnation of Ullmann.

Re: Hikoki new house style

Any chance of posting comparison samples old vs. new?

Re: Hikoki new house style

Can't do that because I have not bought any of their latest publications featuring the new artwork / house style. Luftwaffe Colours 1935 - 1945 by Ullmann seems to have been completely reworked in the new house style, other books may simply feature a new dust jacket - I don't know.

Of course it is all a matter of taste...
