Lt Erhard Duttmann 3njg4 shot down 1-1-'45

LT Erhard Duttmann 3NJG4 shot down 1-1'45
on the 1st of Jan 1945 a ju88 piloted by Lt Erhard Duttmann was shot down over Bockweiler does anybody have any imformation on the action and what happened who was involved and what aircraft were they flying thank you dennis markson

There is a very lengthy description, too much for me to type here, of Duttmann's demise in the excellent book Bodenplatte The Luftwaffe's last hope by John Manrho and Ron Putz. If you only will have one book on Bodenplatte, this is the one to have and I doubt it will ever be surpassed.

Hi

Lt Erich Dittmann was flying a Ju 88 G-1 / 714107 / 3C + FL.
The rest of the crew was: Ogfr Fritz Renke and Uffz Friedrich Berberich, they was all mia.

Duttmann was shot down on the 1-1-'45 are you able to look that action up .it took place over Bockweiler? and he was buried at Walther Farm he was flying a JU88 I am trying to find out who clamed the shooting down he was flying in support of operation northwind dennis
