Fw 200
How do you spell it in German: Condor or Kondor?
The English way of spelling German words has been so overwhelming during the past 40 years that even in French some speak of "U-Boats"! TIA Chris |

Only partly right. The bird is written "der Kondor" but the plane was named "Condor". The first letter "C" is more elegant
![]() Just have a look at the civil Fw 200s - written "Condor" beneath a black stripe... Regards RolandF |

Roland, I assume this settles the matter.
