HAUPTMANN КLAUS-ULRICH EISMANN

Hi!
Recently was offered Ehren Pokal of Luftwaffe. It belonged to HAUPTMANN КLAUS-ULRICH EISMANN, he was awarded AM 9.9.42
Can anybody provide me with some more info about him.

Thanx in advance.
Eugene.

Re: HAUPTMANN КLAUS-ULRICH EISMANN

Eugene,

The only other item I could find from "Die Inhaber Des Ehrenpokals Fur Besondere Leitung Im Luftkrieg" is that he was a Beobachter (observer).

If you can find an Ehrenliste from that timeframe of his award it will list what branch he served with i.e. recon., bomber etc.

Regards

Jeremy

Re: HAUPTMANN КLAUS-ULRICH EISMANN

Wolfgang Dietrich's book Kampfgeschwader 55 "Grief" lists Hans Eismann but the dates match Larry's information/reason for loss so I suspect this is your man. He is also listed as Beobachter.

The balance of the crew lost that day is as follows:

Fw. Gunther Hoyer FF
Uffz. Gunther Reimann BS?
Obgefr. Johann Armani BM
