What Type of Me 109?
Dear friends of the Forum,
found a part with a number and try to identify the plane itself, hopefully also the unit it belonged to and the fate. What I can read is: Me P 109.590 109123017215 Any idea? Thanks in advance Rolfeb Last edited by Rolfeb; 23rd April 2019 at 15:37.

Hi!
That appears to be a mian tag for the left wing of a G-series. That number was used on the G-1 to the G-10, so it could be from any. Can you provide a closer view of the tag itself? The style appears to be quite late...so I suspect LATE G6 to G14 or G-10. Mike
