wrecks from Pachino (Sicily)

Some italian researchers have found in the area of the former Pachino airfield (southern tip of Sicily) two metal artifacts coming from aircraft.

Inside the first one the number 18096 is readible. Because a Bf.109G-6 trop with this wr. nr. was found in good conditions at Comiso by Allied troops, could this piece come from a Bf.109G-6?

The first three pictures show the same part.

Thanks

Gianandrea

No, I haven't any aerial photo.
You may find a picture of the remains of the field here:

http://www.150gct.it/modules.php?nam...wtopic&t=14610

The cohordinates 36°42'56.48"N 15° 4'33.17"E will lead to the north boundaries of the (former) field.
