Re: Obslt Blödorn

According to our records, at the time in question, Obstlt. Bloedorn was Kommodore of KG 30 until 12.04.43 when he was transferred to the Staff of GFM Kesselring/Luftflotte 2 and remained there until 09.44.

We hope that this answers your question.

During that time he forwarded reports on Luftwaffe activities to the Italian Air Ministry. Ferdinando d'Amico found some of these which I was able to quote from in Ghost Bombers: the moonlight war of NSG 9.

Re: Obslt Blödorn

According to our notes, Bloedorn was appt Kdt. of Koflug 12/VII on 01.10.44, located at Metz, the appointment lasting until 04.45. (This was possibly just a temporary appointment ending 15.10.44)??

We hope that this sheds some light on this.
