Movements of I, III/STG 2 in 1941

I have been attempting to identify all the airfields that the Luftwaffe operated from in the 1941 campaign in Russia. In particular I am seeking info on the airfields that I, III / STG 2 operated from.

Re: Movements of I, III/STG 2 in 1941

Hello Leo
Yes I am aware of this page but I am finding some inaccuracies. For example it shows I/STG 2 at "Nowogrodek" on 28 June 1941 but this town did not fall until 3-4 July. I am assuming this was meant to show that I/STG 2 was operating over Novogrodek, but not based there. I am guessing it was at Lida, the home 122 FAR and HQ of 11 SAD, but need to prove it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks Leo
