Please help with bomber unit
Hi -- I am researching the Battle of Bastogne. Does anyone know what Kampfgeschwader or bombing unit bombed Bastogne on the night of 12/24/44--12/25/44? The bombers were almost certainly Ju-88s from eyewitness accounts. Also, I though I had once heard that this was the same unit that bombed Eindhoven back in Sept. of 1944 during Market-Garden. If you know, please also include the home base of this unit. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

I./KG66
I./KG66 took part in the bombing and marking of Eindhoven (19 September 1944) and Bastogne, both attacks flying from Dedelstorf airfield.
