Re: E-bay pics
Great job! Thanks a lot!
I really liked the "Walkaround" of white-16. I think that the colorphoto of the 109 is colorized - they got some of the colors wrong ![]() Cheers! / Anders |

Re: E-bay pics
The color 109 is well known, is it Jan Reznak, Slovakian ace?

Re: E-bay pics
The Arado Ar234"B" appears to be Ar234C-3 W.Nr.250006 photographed in München-Riem. The final proof would be the size of the swastika. This is not visible. Is there any additional info about this particular 4-jet fighter?

Re: E-bay pics
Only a heads-up to be aware of that the images offered by "foto-historiker" are, as pointed out at sellers site, not necessarily originals but rather copies: [i]"It is a document photo from my archive - you don´t get this anymore as an original photo!". and: "copy/postwar photo of an original war time photo from my archiv"
The following Bf 109 image was for example auctioned by this seller also 21 Nov 2009 and 12 Jan 2010: http://cgi.ebay.de/selt-Archiv-Foto-...item27b15dd01c Many images which were up at the site yesterday have been sold from there before - Just so you know before spending your cash ![]() Goran |

Re: E-bay pics
Greetings,
First, thank you for posting these great photos. Also, Goran is more than correct about the provenance of some them, specifically, this one: http://cgi.ebay.de/Foto-Fw190-A-JG30...item439f070a86 This photograph is probably many generations old, and comes from a series taken at Neubiberg by the late Merle C. Olmsted (that’s Merle sitting on the wing). Listed as a “Foto Fw190 A JG301 Flugzeug Aircraft 1945 Luftwaffe 2wk,” it has been published dozens of times before and does not illustrate an Fw 190 A from JG 301. My records and other photos show it to be: F-190 F-9/R1 WNr. 428639, <<+ - Gn o/l Bk, Stab/II./SG 10, purportedly flown to Neubiberg by St.Führ. Maj. Götz Baumann. Buyers beware! Steve Sheflin PS: Sorry about the bold type. I can't seem to make it go away. |

Re: E-bay pics
Hello Gang,
Thanks for your positive return! I'll try to spend some more time on eBay in the future. Anders, I concur: "White 16" is a treat; Steve and Goran, thanks for your 'Beware' advices, they're much appreciated. Roland, You always astonish me: how do you it this time to recognize this engineless Ar 234 hulk as a C model? Cheers Marc Last edited by Marc-André Haldimann; 3rd May 2010 at 21:29.
