Bomber B Arado Ar340?

I have been doing some research on the Bomber B programme. I have read that the Arado Ar 340 (E.340) reached a mock-up stage before it was dismissed by the RLM. Does anyone have any photos of the mock-up?

I am searching the net at the moment, but would also appreciate any information on the Ar340 project.

Thanks Ian

Ian

Mock up? Very doubtful in my opinion. There is a sketch of this project in the book Arado Flugzeugwerke by Volker Koos

Cheers
Stig

Re: Bomber B Arado Ar340?

Relating to this, I accidentally found a website advertising a quadruple pack of Bomber B kits: Do 317, Fw 191, Ar 340, Ju 288 !!! Wow! I am sure that this is of interest to somebody! Too bad its in 1/144th scale, but you can't have everything!

That same website has the Ar340 (and indeed the others mentioned above) in 1/72 too.
