Hello ,

During the night of december 31 / january 1 1945 Ju-88 4R+GU was lost south east of Malines ( Mechelen ) in Belgium.
Who were the crew and what happened with them ?

BF: Fw. Ludwig Denker, *17.02.1920, KIA, Lommel 52-120
BF: Ofw. Herbert Löscher, *03.08.1914, KIA, Lommel 52-336
BS: Ogfr. Heinz Schröder, *24.06.1922, KIA, Lommel 52-183

Crashed near 'Planckendael' near Muizen. Crew buried initially in Muizen.

Ju 88G-6, WNr. 620069, 4R+GU, 10./NJG 2, Crash at 23.45 hrs.

Just so your aware chaps, other than the crew details (for which many thanks for those John) most of the other details for this and a large selection of Ju88G-6's appear on the aptly named LEMB Ju88G-6 Database. Its also worth noting that the database has also moved and now forms a part of the impressive Gyges website maintained by SES/Michaël and can now be accessed and downloaded from here.

As is always the case, this free and open resource is always looking for additional information, updates and amendments, all of which can be posted on the LEMB here
