Me 210 A-1 of 2./122
2./122 used some Me 210 A-1s for the first half of 1943. There are three photographs of them in '210/410 in Action' - I wonder if those 210s were modified for recon duty in any way. It is not obvious in the photos...

Pavel,
My view, for what its worth, is that the cameras were held in the modified bomb bay. In the same way that they were planned for the B series and for the recce versions of the 410. Petrick and Stocker list a number of 210A-1s on charge of 2./122 I will list them tomorrow. Could not find any photos in there or the Petrick and Mankau tome that showed anything to do with the 210A-1 used as a recce aircraft.

Andy, I've got both books you mentioned, indeed the only photos of recon Me 210s widely known are those from '210/410 in action'. Unfortunately the belly (modified or not) is not visible in the photos.
