Hello Scott!

Could it be a "dummy" aircraft ( made of wooden )?
Seems very tinny...

Hello Scott!

I think the A/C is a Ju-87. The revetements on the left airfield limit both sides of the firing butt contain several Bf-109, so the compared scale is about right, and the plan shape of the wings would fit rather well...

Thanks Adriano and JV

That does look potentially like a Stuka. I am not so sure that it is a dummy or decoy. I tried to count the aircraft on the ground and stopped at 30 or so. There are probably quite a few more. You will probably recall the 1st aerial photo which I posted of Oschersleben which did not show the entire scissors runway. I think this one shows more of the damage to the factory buildings as well. I visited my father a few weeks ago and obtained this new photo as well as the 2nd Dessau photo which had been lost for a long time.

Cheers
Scott Blyth
