which unit?

Iron Horse RC Aircraft has come out with a new plane, and I was wondering if anyone knew what unit they are trying to portray with this Stuka.

The Ju 87R is carrying the shield with a black leopard (panther) of 5./StG 77 which is confirmed by the four-letter code: S2 = StG 77 and N = the 5. Staffel which would also carry the individual letter L in red.

Hi Doug -

Yep, we're familiar with Kondor Models. They're a right pain to get stuff shipped.

There's a guy that has a big Stuka, probably the Kondor, around here - we always see him at the STARS event in September. By the end of the day, I'm rather sick of the Castor oil fumes from those little Glow and Gas engines. But it's worth it.
