Re: Oblt Albrecht Bellstedt / JG 2
Hi Phil
That would be a no, the Micro films were still running until his death, and he had none until then. I have him with ten claims with 2./Zg1 in the West, though he made have made some earlier in Russia! Johannes |

Re: Oblt Albrecht Bellstedt / JG 2
Hi Johannes,
Thank you very much indeed for your precious informations : none for JG 2 ! I found 13 victories in O.K.L. Fighter Claims /Chef für Ausz. und Dizsiplin dadat base (12 for 1943 and 1 for 1944) but your are skiller than me because I had no idea to search before his entry in KG 40 .... Another field for searches. Thank you for your help. Phil. |

Most interested to know what unit he was with in Russia before V/KG 40 as I have nothing on him prior to his Bay of Biscay service?

Re: Oblt Albrecht Bellstedt / JG 2
This is his time with V/KG 40 which became I/ZG 1 in Oct 43. He was lost with JG 2 after I/ZG 1 was disbanded. No kills in Russia-all over the Bay of Biscay.
