Electric power plants as targets of USAAF in WWII
Gentlemen,
The electric power plants were important industrial objects, but were not targeted often by USAAF in Europe during WW2. I have found no any detailed description of it in the US materials, checked by me. What was the cause? Maybe because such plants supplied also large civilian populations, not only the industry? Is there any available source considering such kind of targets and their partly ignorance? Thank you, |

Re: Electric power plants as targets of USAAF in WWII
While I am unsure what is available through the Internet, the published volumes of the US Strategic Bombing Survey - Europe as well as the archival materials in RG 243 in the US National Archives cover the electrical power industry in Germany.
